What
information is gathered and tracked
In order for MailStart to access your existing
email accounts it is necessary for you to enter your account information (e-mail
address) and password. This information is encrypted in the URL MailStart sends
back to your browser, and is discarded when you have finished a MailStart
session.
We record your IP Address, time, date, and URL
information of each HTTP request made to our servers.
The domain of failed email access attempts are
recorded. For example, if user@domain.com experienced an error, our computers
will log that a failure occurred while accessing the domain.com network. This
enables us to verify the operation of our software and troubleshoot any error
conditions.
We also record contact information from users who
have chosen to join our Template Program.

MailStart.Com does not sell or release personal
information. Only information regarding advertising impressions and traffic
patterns in the form of an aggregate report are ever released.
MailStart will never willfully disclose
individually identifiable information about its contacts to any third party
unless ordered to do so by a court of law.
We take great pride in providing you with a
privacy policy. To further ensure the integrity of data stored on our network we
utilize all necessary and available security. We protect you from any internal
misuse, by requiring all employees that may come in contact with data gathered
by MailStart to sign a nondisclosure agreement over the data. In addition all
employees sign a contract that binds them to the privacy policy seen here.
MailStart recognizes the concern some users may
have over disclosing your email address with our email service. We will never
store, sell, trade, or share any email address you check with MailStart.
Further, we will never ask your permission to be placed on an unsolicited email
list. In short, MailStart will never use information supplied by you to further
any type of unsolicited bulk email.
